Description:

      * Hosts portal.nordu.net and www.wayf.dk were unreachable.

Impact:

      * The WAYF website and NORDUnet Portal were unavailable.

Update:

      * 20100724 11:04 UTC
        Reachability was restored by rebooting the virtual machines.

        On Saturday night, www.wayf.dk lost the https service
        between 01:16 and 01:36 UTC, and portal.nordu.net had
        problems between 01:20 and 02:19 UTC.
        The hosts were reachable however the entire time.

        The problems repeated on Sunday, between 11:18 and 11:34
        UTC. The portal machine was rebooted again, which also
        recovered WAYF.

        The issues were most likely due to the portal.nordu.net
        running out of memory. It has now been dealt with.

Final ticket report:

      * The outages was caused by the server running out of memory.
        The server was assigned additional memory and we have not
        seen any problems since then.
